We recommend the Daytime Wild Tour. This has been one of the favorite activities of Breakaway
groups. You must make reservations at least two weeks in advance for the Daytime Wild Tour.
No reservation is needed for the public tour.
These spectacular falls in the Cherokee National Forest include a 5-mile hiking trail along the Bald
River above the falls (the trail is not a loop).
An 11-mile driving loop through the first settlement in the Smokies with interpretive stops along the
way at historic cabins, churches, barns, gristmill, cemeteries. There's also a 6-mile roundtrip hiking
trail to Abrams Falls along the route.
There are many great hiking trails nearby in the Smokies or Cherokee National Forest. We can
recommend some easy, moderate, or strenuous trails.
